The Klassix Auto Museum had a great collection of cars, including an example of every model year Corvette ever made from 1953 on. It had race cars and stock cars and motorcycles, too. It was located at 2909 W. International Speedway Blvd. in Daytona, America's "Birthplace of Speed", near the famous Speedway itself. It had a celebrity part owner in racing driver Mark Martin. What it lacked was enough tourist traffic to keep it open. In April, 2003, the museum's contents were auctioned off and the race was over.
